SimWaves VR team started with five people that wanted to create a virtual reality experience using all of your senses (sight, sound. smell, touch). And so it began with a wooden box. (As seen in the top left corner of image above).

But things changed extremely rapidly once SimWave received funding through Canadian Media Fund. This enabled us to go further by gathering new business contacts. We attended trade shows such as the Canadian Museum Association conference and the American Alliance Museum Conference where we found our lucrative niche market of museums. We were televised on the show the disruptors and CTV news, and since Virtual Reality was an up and coming technology we were featured in Canadian papers as innovators in our field.  Our booth has come a long way since the early stages as we worked with other Canadian Businesses in getting our design to a much better prototype, and we were able to expand our team. With two new immersive experiences that will launch internationally next year, we cannot wait to see what is in store for our StartUp and the future of Virtual Reality here at SimWave.
