We had Alex from Dymech Engineering come down to the office today to make a few changes to the virtual reality booth prototype. The change that was most evident was making the floating floor less noticeable when rumbling. Before the floor would rumble and the entire office would encompass the ambiance of an earthquake. Now, the rumbling floor is much more condensed and makes minimal noise. Alex mounted the low-frequency audio transducers directly to the bottom of the floor, completely removing the rattling noise that was occurring before. The office is a much happier place now.
